"I flew in yesterday and you can spot certain religious people in the airport. Because they don't care what they look like! They don't care. I saw this precious lady in the airport in Salt Lake City Utah and she was flying to Portland, and hair up in a bun, no make-up! Ladies, God wants you wearing make-up! God wants you men driving a new car!...I can feel it right now, 'Well, God doesn't care what kind of car we drive. God doesn't care what kind of house we drive [sic].' Listen, God cares so much that if your not doing well you're a bad example! The joy of the Lord is our strength. If your house has more holes in it or your car's number one color is bondo, number 1, that doesn't give you joy. If everytime the phone rings your skin crawls cause it may be another uh, uh, bill collector, that doesn't give you joy. What has joy is when all your cars are paid off! And all your houses are paid oof! And all your bills are paid off! Ahh, come on! Somebody say Amen!...Being blessed is a great testimony of the goodness of our God. Nobody wants a God that's not winning! So God needs us blessed! And He wants us blessed! Gimme an Amen!"
(Larry Huch, "I Thirst Party I," TBN October 22, 2004)
Note: Hear this moving statement from Habakkuk in which he puts his joy in God despite any wickedness or trouble that may happen to him. His joy comes from knowing and serving God not from his circumstances:
"Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation," Habakkuk 3:17-18.
"We're going to throw that spirit of poverty, that religious spirit, that northwest spirit, we're going to break that thing right now! And prepare ourselves, the next several weeks to grow. I'm going to kill every religious lie! Well, Jesus was poor. Jesus was not poor! I wanna be like Jesus, Jesus was poor. Well, you better get rich then! My God was rich!"
(Larry Huch, "Breaking The Curse of Poverty," part 2, TBN July 16, 2004)
"Now, why do you want to be like Mike [Jordan]? How does everybody, and most of you don't play golf, how does everybody know about Tiger Woods? Because they're rich! Amen? Now if Mike was some guy sleeping in a dumpster would u wanna be like Mike? No! No! I wanna be like Mike because when Mike puts on tennis shoes they give him 30 million dollars. I don't care if I could put a hoop, a ball through a hoop or not! I want to be like Mike [rich]. What if all your family said, 'I wanna be like Tom,' 'I wanna be like Don,' 'I wanna be like Fran.' Oh Man! They're rich! [Cheers]"

"I'm going to prove to you next week that God wants you rich. Is that okay?"
(Larry Huch, "Jesus' Father was Not Poor I," TBN, August 27, 2004)
"We don't have to go down to Goodwill to buy our grandchildren some clothes! Grandma and grandpa can go down to Toys-R-Us and say, 'Load it up!' Everybody say, 'The Bible says, the Bible says money answers all things.' Can I give you one more? The Bible says, everybody say the Bible says, 'Money cometh now!' [cheers] Oh, Oh! Some of ya'll freaked out on that one! You don't know that's, the Bible says, 'Money cometh now!' Somebody shout, now! How many need money to come? Say this out loud, 'Money cometh to me now!' Say it again, 'Money cometh to me now!' Say, 'Money cometh to me now!' If you are ready give the Lord a shout."
(Larry Huch, "Breaking The Curse of Poverty," part 2, TBN July 16, 2004)
"...Religious poverty mentality. We're serving the King of kings. We're serving the Lord of lords. We don't, no we don't need no used stuff. As a matter of fact, I'm going to show you God wants you to drive a new car [Claps, Cheers]. Can I show you something here? Are we to follow Jesus? Let me show you a little something here. Look at, look at, um, uh, Luke 19:29, 'And it came to pass, when he was come near to Bethphage and Bethany, in a mountain called Olivet, that he sent two of his disciples, Saying, Go into the village. Now who's talking here [Audience answers Jesus]? Alright? Go into the village opposite you where as yor enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat.' It ain't no used car. Ahh, no, no. You didn't even get that! Go get me that new, see, why, Jesus was trying to set a precedent here. Go get me, now if you read the other scriptures there was two of them there. One was an old one, one was a new one that no one had ever drove before...So why is it that we who are being the example and making a stand, we oughta drive used stuff when the world out there gets to drive the new stuff? Jesus went and He's making, remember every word in here [Bible] is inspired by God. And He say's there were two of them over there and bring me the one that nobody has rode yet. God wants us able to drive new cars! Somebodies going to drive new cars [Shouts, Cheers]. Ah, ya'll didn't even get that."
(Larry Huch, "Jesus' Father was Not Poor I," TBN, August 27, 2004)
"Jesus didn't wear rags! Man Jesus hung out with the guys with all the money. The tax collectors and all these guys. You think if He's wearing rags and coming in all hungry and skinny sitting down, 'Man I hope they feed us lunch while we're here' [Laughs]. They gambled over Jesus' robe, not because they thought it was a holy robe. Because, it was the finest material that there was. Read the history books, it had no seams in it [Claps]. Come on! Pastor Scott asked me, 'Are we gonna, we gonna kill that poverty spirit again today?' I said, 'We're going to kill it, burn it, and then bury it!' Amen? [Claps, Cheers,]"
(Larry Huch, "Jesus' Father was Not Poor I," TBN, August 27, 2004)
"Jesus didn't believe in second hand. Can I prove it to you? Could I have you turn to Luke 19 verse 29. Jesus is going to come in, this is where they are pressing Him. 'And it came to pass, when he was come near to Bethphage and Bethany, in a mountain called Olivet, that he sent two of his disciples, Saying, Go into the village opposite you where as you enter you will find a colt tied on which no one has ever sat.' See, Christians go in say, 'You know what uh, uh, I want one of them cars that somebody bought at the auction because the good car lots won't sell them anymore. I want that car that's two toned, bondo, and rust.' If you read the scriptures there were two donkey's there, one was an old mother donkey and the other one was a branmd new, shiney, never been drove, full warrenty donkey with 18 inch horseshoes on it [Laughs]. Now, you know the bible says that every word in here is inspired by God. And Jesus said, 'Go get me the new one that nobody, I don't want no second hand.' You know what? If we are to follow Jesus, we ought not settle for having to drive second hand cars. Renting houses that noboby else wants. Driving buses that nobody else can use. If our God can get the best and we are joint heirs with Christ Jesus. We can have the best too! Somebody say, Amen [Claps and cheers]. You know what? I didn't read this next verse [Luke 19:31] but somebody in here needs this. And this is by the Holy Ghost. This isn't even in my notes and if anyone asks you, 'Why are you driving that new car?' Thus you shall say to them, because my Lord needs me to have it [Claps and Shouts]! Oh, come on now! Jesus, didn't, isn't that an amazing scripture? Said [Jesus] go get me, there is two of them there. Which one do you want Lord? You want the old beat up one? The old rusted one? After all we're on a budget. No! He said, no, no. Go get me the one that nobody has driven yet. And if anybody asks you why, tell them, 'Because I'm a child of the King of kings and Lord of lords, that's why. Come on! Somebody say, Amen."

"If I don't preach on prosperity people will stay in poverty. My job is to tear down the gates of Hell and release the blessing of God. That's my job! I run into pators all the time that say, 'You know pastor, I went back and taught on prosperity and I lost some folks.' Well, Bye! [Applause] You choose who you loose. If you preach on poverty your losing me! If you preach on prosperity you're losing the ones who want poverty. Who do you want to hang out with? [Applause] You got to make a stand in your own life, you're gonna have relatives, you're going to have religious relatives say, 'I, you know God ain't that way.' But when you're prospering guess who they come and want to borrow money from? We got, listen, we got all kinds of people wanting us who are against prosperity wanting us to give them the church when we leave. I ain't doing it! Now, if God blesses us in a certain way, I may give this church away. But, I'm not going to give it to no poverty people! I'm not planting good seed in bad soil! [Applause] Uh, Uh, Uh, Uh, I'm a faithful and wise steward, you got to make a stand on this!"

"A guy came up to me and said, 'I have to repent because when I found out I was interviewing you, I said that I'm interviewing that Healh and Wealth preacher.' Then all the sudden he said, 'My wife said, do you know what the opposite of that is? Sickness and poverty.' Well, you got to pay the price. I'm here to tell you the price has been paid. No, I'm here to tell you the price, and there ain't no price that we can pay better."

"My Bible says, 'Money answers all things.' When we go down to the car lot and we don't have to go to the used car lot where they bought those junkers at the auction that nobody else wants. But, instead of making a right into the junkyard we make a left into the new car yard. [Cheers] And when the guy says, 'How do want it? It starts at $29,995.' Say, 'I want the works.' How you gonna pay for it? I'd like to pay cash! [Cheers]"

"But, on top of being a pastor, I am a faith teacher. I believe in the power of faith. And on top of that I am a prosperity teacher. I believe the Word of God promises you and I as we pay our tithes and give a offering, the Word of God absolutely promises prosperity!"

"Man, I'm going to church with Don. I'm going to church with Fran. Why? Because man, they go down there and they get blessed! Everything they touch, their houses are paid for! I'd rather the world wanna be like us, but, if we're walking around in 1972 polyester suits nobody wanna be like us. Amen? Come on, you need to receive Jesus! Why? Oh man! He'll make you poor! He'll make you suffer! Come on, join! Oh man, where do I sign up? Come on! The Devil, the Devil is so smart and the sheep are so dumb! Go around and tell everybody that you got to suffer! Walk around your neighborhood looking like a mule chewing on gravel with a toothache. How come you're like that? Because I'm a christian, I'm a child of God. Ain't nobody want that! We telling these kids don't be like these dealers down here. But the dope dealers are down there driving Mercedes Benz's. And then we pick up our kids in some bus the world threw away. Come on! Come on! Don't you hate it when I start being practical instead of being religious? Now think about it! We tell our kids, 'You need to serve God. You need, Don't listen to those dope dealers, don't listen to those drug dealers.' But the drug dealers are down there in some new BMW! But we're going down to church, going down, paint all faded on the bus. We bought the bus because the school system threw them away! Seats are all ripped! Yeah, join the kingdom of God! Number 3, My bible says, 'Money answers all things!' My money buys buses where we can go down and pick up them kids and say, 'Come on! You need to join the family of God cause our God reigns!' Not just in the sweet pie in the sky when you die. But, down on the ground when we're still around."

"You got to make a stand on this! Are you ready? You got to make a stand, you got to, you got to, if somebody comes into your house and they're robbing you, you're gonna go, well, 'If it be the Lord's will.' No, If it be the Lords will and a Smith and Wesson, and lousiville slugger. Isn't that right? The same thing the Devil is going to try and rob you of this. Listen, listen, there is a spirit of poverty over the whole northwest here. Let me say, it used to be over the whole northwest, it's now all filtered to the Portland area. Our government is full of poverty. Our mayor and government offices are full of poverty. Our streets our full of poverty. Our neighborhoods our full of poverty. But, you may be in Portland, but you are not of Portland. You got to break that! And it will, I know I'm going long, but it will try to embrace you. I deal with our staff all the time. I say, 'Do not dress down but dress up!' Do not come down!"

And where there has been a dried up well, there will be rivers of fresh water and fresh anointing that their people will bring back to their churches. And their churches will begin to see the revival that they dreamed of. And the second thing is, and I don't say this but by the Spirit of God. People need to get behind, and I know this is so strong in my spirit, and support your, this ministry. Because by God sending you, there are, as I was praying for this program tonight. I saw men who were going to be suicide bombers, see the program and receive the Lord and be set free."

"There's people driving new cars. There's people living in nice houses. There's people wearing fine clothes. There's people wearing jewelry. You need to realize that nobody has a right, more of a right to drive a new car or live in a new house or wear fine clothes or get a better job or get a raise than somebody that's been washed in the blood of the Lamb, that is a child of the living King. And you need to start getting excited. And you need to start claiming what is yours. Because, my bible says, 'You have not because you ask not!' Somebody say, Amen [Claps and Shouts]."

Ten Curses that Block the Blessing
"In this series, Pastor Larry Huch shares a dream & vision God gave him one night, “Larry, there are 10 curses that block the blessing from my people. I will show you and send you throughout the world to set my people free!” As you apply this revelation to your life and your families’ life, you will experience the fullness of God’s blessing as you walk in freedom as never before!"
(Larry Huch, 8-Tape Audio series, "Ten Curses that Block the Blessing")
Breaking Family Curses
"In this life changing series, Pastor Larry Huch teaches on the bondages and strongholds of family curses. He reveals that the curses in our lives were broken at Calvary, and teaches how we can claim that redemption and live victoriously. After listening to this series and applying it to your life, you will be able to fulfill all that God has for you and begin living as more than a conqueror."
(Larry Huch, 8-Tape Audio series,"Breaking Family Curses")
One of Larry's main teachings is family [Generational] curses, this of course is a false teaching. See this explanation of Exodus 20:5, Numbers 14:18, and Deuteronomy 5:9, dealing with God visiting iniquity to the third and fourth generation:
EZEKIEL 18:20—Does God ever punish one person for another’s sin?
PROBLEM:
Ezekiel says clearly God does not punish the sons for their fathers’ sins, but that “the soul who sins shall die [for its own sins].” However, in Exodus 20:5 we are informed that God visits “the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations.” These seem flatly contradictory.
SOLUTION:
Ezekiel is speaking of the guilt of the father’s sin never being held against the sons, but Moses was referring to the consequences of the fathers’ sins being passed on to their children. Unfortunately, if a father is a drunk, the children can suffer abuse and even poverty. Likewise, if a mother has contracted AIDS from drug use, then her baby may be born with AIDS. But, this does not mean that the innocent children are guilty of the sins of their parents.
Further, even if the Exodus passage implied that moral guilt was somehow also visited on the children, it would only be because they too, like their fathers, had sinned against God. Noteworthy is the fact that God only visits the iniquities of “those who hate” Him (Ex. 20:5), not those who do not.
The Bible is very clear on this issue, will you follow man or God? I pray that you choose God. See what God said about this issue:
"Yet say ye, Why? Doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father?...The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him," Ezekiel 18:19-20 (See also: Deuteronomy 24:16, 2 Kings 14:6, 2 Chronicles 25:4).
The Vision
A few years ago Pastor Benny Hinn invited me on his TV program to share my testimony of being set free from cocaine and heroin. In the studio, I explained that I not only got saved, but was later set free and stayed free. I shared with him that even though I received complete salvation; and was in full time ministry; I still needed to be delivered. I was saved but not yet free.
Benny then stopped the filming and said, "Let's do a week of this." After that he said, "Let's do another week." Pastor Benny received an incredible response from this message and then he said to me, "Larry, you need to write a book and teach this, God is raising you up to reach the world as he did with Derek Prince."
About 4 months later, Tiz and I were having dinner with Oral and Evelyn Roberts. Pastor Oral said God had originally told him to bring deliverance to the captives, but God lead him into another direction instead, to spread the message of the gospel through faith and healing. He said, "Larry the mantle of deliverance that I thought was for me is what God has given you. God is raising you up to be bring deliverance to people around the world, as He did with Derek Prince." I was excited at the word he gave me, though I did not fully understand what all it meant, I gave it to God and left all of this in His hands and timing.
A few months later, God woke me up in the middle of the night and said to me, "Larry, there are 10 curses that are blocking the blessings that I want to release on my people." I said, "What are they Lord?" He said, "I'll show you soon." The next morning I said to Tiz, "God is going to show me 10 curses that block the blessing."
As I got in my car to go to my office at church I reached into a box of tapes to listen to some preaching and out came a tape from Derek Prince. I don't know where this tape came from! I put it in and he said, "Here are the ten curses that block the blessing."
About 2 months later, Tiz and I went to visit Joel Osteen. We were sitting with his mother Dottie and she started to cry and said to me, "Larry, God is so proud of you. He is using you to set captives free."
The following November we had Pastor Cesar and Claudia Castellanos at New Beginnings for a conference. In the lounge, Sister Claudia told me (through the interpreter) that she saw the gift of teaching in me. I didn't know how different the actual definition of 'teaching' was from my understanding of it. Sister Claudia told Pastor Cesar what she had told me and I asked him what this 'teaching gift' really was. Pastor Cesar explained that the gift of teaching included all of the gifts.
Then Cesar said (through the interpreter) he had had a dream that night about Derek Prince. He was praying and laying hands on hundreds of people that had come up for prayer, Pastor Cesar didn't know why, but he told me I must go see Derek Prince.
We contacted Derek Prince Ministries and they were kind enough to put us in touch with Brother Prince who was living in Israel at the time. Then my friend Jimmy and I went to Israel and joined Joseph Shulam, and together we went to see a Founding Father of the Faith, Derek Prince.
Although Brother Prince was very weak, he still wanted to see us. He said that he needed to worship first in order to receive a word from the Lord. So in that little room we all sang and worshiped God. When Brother Prince was ready, he prayed for me, his hands were shaking and his voice was barely audible, but then he came to a point in his prayer when his hands became steady and his voice became clear. He told me, "You will be like the arrow from the bow of God's hand that will go into the countries and the continents of the world. You will be the arrow that will destroy the enemies of God."
As we left, Joseph began to weep saying our experience with Brother Prince was very moving and that week's Torah portion was the very same prophesy Brother Derek had just imparted!
Later, Joseph wrote me this letter:
Shalom Larry,
Yesterday I was invited to visit Derek Prince at his home. He wanted a few leaders from Israel to come to him. The meeting was wonderful and we had a fine discussion.
I believe the Lord will anoint you (Larry) with such a new and powerful teaching ministry and also with great love for Israel and the Jewish people just like Derek has had. It will be nothing like the love you have now; for Israel and the Jewish people; it will be something supernatural and beyond understanding. It will be an international ministry with influence on many thousands of people around the world. This, in my opinion, will be the fourth wave of the Holy Spirit that will wash the world and prepare the road for the soon return of the Messiah to Zion.
