"This was the problem Job had. Do you remember Job's famous statement of abject ignorance? "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord." How many times is that been quoted in religious institutions? The idea is, que sera sera, whatever will be, will be. The Lord might bless me one day, the next day He might zap me real good.
God lays both of these notions to rest in the two Old Testament examples I gave you by raising these women's children from the dead. He raises them from the dead, ending the notion that God deals in death, that He's unpredictable, that He's fickle, that who knows what He's going to do."

"You've got to talk to it now. You've got to look at that thing, whatever it is. Speak to that sickness, speak to that pile of bills. You've got to talk to it. You've got to speak life to it. Speak from your heart of belief that Jesus can give you power over that death. Talk to it. Tell those bills they're paid according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Talk to those things that seem to be the touch of death, and God can raise them to life once again."

"Just as the Devil hopes you'll be casual about your thoughts, he will also try to convince you to be casual about your words. Actually, the two are linked because wrong thoughts will invariably lead to wrong words. According to Hebrews 11, the words you speak today frame the world you will step into tomorrow because your words are the containers of your faith. Mark 11:23 says you will have whatsoever you say. Satan knows this principle will work for you or against you depending on what kind of words are coming out of your mouth. Listen to your words and guard your mouth. You can't afford to allow your own tongue to speak cursing and death into your life."

"This world was made by words of faith spoken by God. You are created in His image and have been given His power of attorney (the name of Jesus) and dominion over this earth. So, when you speak forth words of faith from your heart, you are framing the world you are going to step into tomorrow. If you want to change your circumstances, you're going to have to change the spiritual root from which they spring. You change that root by changing your words. By putting words of faith in your mouth, you change the temporal world around you. Faith is the change agent and your words are the containers of that faith."

"If you're believing for healing, open your Bible and look up all the references on healing. Write them down and meditate on them daily. Continually confess the healing scriptures out loud and refuse to speak words of doubt and unbelief. As time passes, the revelation of healing will grow within you. Finally, one day, the symptoms of sickness will disappear. Your due season has come and God's promise is manifested in your life!"

"As we continue reading, we discover that Zacharias unfortunately did not respond well to the angel's visitation. And as a result, we see what came to pass for Zacharias. But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. … And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years. And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. (Luke 1:13,17-20 KJV)...Another important lesson we learn from Zacharias' experience is that our words have the ability to abort the plan of God. Zacharias had trouble believing the angel's message to him and began to voice words of doubt. Jesus' birth was so important that the Lord could not allow Zacharias' lack of faith to impede His redemptive plan from coming to pass at its appointed time. As a result, Zacharias was struck dumb to prevent him from speaking doubt and unbelief."

"You've got to eliminate the notion - as long as you think the touch of death in your body, that little sickness that you can't seem to get a victory over, or the financial problems you're having, or whatever the challenge may be - you've got to get over the notion that God has anything to do with it, because He does not.
Religion teaches this junk today, that this is the way God deals with His people. He does not. And for you to lay hold of resurrection life, you're going to have to get over that notion. And then if you are touched by a dead circumstance, you've got to eliminate the fear, the grief and the sorrow before resurrection life can come."

"The Word teaches that putting voice to your faith is what makes your faith produce. You frame your tomorrows by what you speak today! We've always taught the positive side of that principle, but it works in the negative sense as well. When you murmur and complain, you are putting voice to your fear. You're framing the tomorrow you step into. That's what Job did. He was in fear when it came to his children's right standing with God. He reinforced that fear by speaking it out and responding to it with corresponding actions. As a result, Job said in Job 3:25, The thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. Job literally framed his tomorrow by the words he spoke."

"Does God experience sickness, poverty, strife-filled relationships, unforgiveness or bitterness? Of course not. I realize it may seem almost sacrilegious to your natural mind, yet that kind of life - the life of God Himself - is the prize that Paul is talking about. That's the prize God has made available to us, not just in heaven, but right here on earth. It can be ours now!"

"Faith, on the other hand, says "it's mine NOW!" Forget about what did or didn't happen yesterday. Expect to receive today. Close the door to Satan by casting down vain imaginations that exalt themselves against God's promises for your life. Think on things that are lovely and pure and of a good report.
Be patient and let faith have its perfect work. Your due season will pass. Your faith will put substance to what you expect and you will have the victory in that area of your life."

"You can change your life! No matter who you are or what you're experiencing right now, that's good news. If you're living in glorious victory, you can go on to even greater glory. If you're living in defeat, you can turn it around. You don't have to live with lack. You don't have to live in mediocrity. You don't have to live in sickness. In Jesus Christ, you can change your condition!"
(Mac Hammond, "From Frustration to Faith," Article CFaith)
"Why did He give that power to us? According to the verse above, so that we might fulfill His call upon our lives ("the hope of His calling") and become His richly glorious inheritance ("His inheritance in the saints"). Yes, we are to be the glorious inheritance of God Himself. And I don't have to tell you, it's not glorious to be sick. It's not glorious to be plagued by lack and insufficiency. It's not glorious to live under a dark cloud of oppression. God receives no glory when your relationships are characterized by strife."

"In the name of Jesus, we can cause demons to bow their knee, we can cast out devils, we can lay hands on the sick and see them recover. In that name which is above every name, we have power (authority, dominion, and jurisdiction) over everything the enemy can bring our way."

"Job is great example of this principle in operation. For forty chapters, Job moaned and groaned to God, his wife, his friends, and anyone else who would listen. Yet his circumstance didn't change."

"The hungrier you are for this present age to end, for the millennial reign of Jesus to begin the quicker these things will come to pass. I think you will see the connection between these two things as we continue our study. You see, it is one of the elements having to do with the "fullness of time" which must arrive before the end times begin."

"Because religious tradition has perverted much of the Word of God, many people have difficulty believing the truth of the Bible. I'd like to challenge you to begin taking God at His Word. When the Bible says that by the stripes of Jesus you are healed, grab hold of it. When you read the name Jehovah Rapha—the Lord that heals you—believe it. When the Gospel accounts say that God sent His Word and healed them, receive it."

"God has provided the divine gift of healing for you in the atonement. He's done everything He is going to do to bring restoration and healing to you. All you must do is activate the anointing and appropriate it to your life. By the stripes Jesus bore on His back, you are healed. Period. You must become completely settled on the fact that it is God's will to heal you. If you have a little doubt harboring somewhere, you will have no basis for your faith to grow or increase."
(Mac Hammond, "The Anointing and Faith: Your Gateway to Healing," Article Winners Way Magazine)
"With that in mind, you must determine what you should mentally image. Imagine the anointing of God destroying the bacteria and viruses in your body. Imagine the anointing attacking an infirmity and destroying it. By doing this, you keep the anointing stirred up and activated within you. By mentally imaging, you are seeing in your mind's eye the power of God driving out disease and infirmity. See that tumor being surrounded, cut off from its power source, and shriveling up because of the anointing. See the anointing healing that broken bone, growing new nerve endings, developing new muscles, and bringing complete restoration. Envision cancer being destroyed or your heart being strengthened by the power of God. Close your eyes and imagine it. This is how the law of the mind works."

"Once you have received the anointing power of God to heal, you must activate that power with your faith. Stir up the power within you and put it to work in your life. You do that by mentally imaging the anointing of God destroying infirmity in your body."

"You first received this God—kind—of—life within you when you made Jesus your Lord. At that time you were "born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever" (1 Peter 1:23). Spiritually, you became a new creature. But God never intended for you to stop there. His plan was for you to keep on bringing forth that divine Life—in your body, in you soul, in your finances, in your family and in every other area of your life. He gave you "very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world…" (2 Peter 1:4, NIV)."

"Even though God is omniscient, and knows precisely when the day of complete fulfillment is, it has not been set. The fullness of time is dependent on the Gospel being preached to all of the world; "the precious fruit of the earth" being ready."

"We are the generation that will not only see the end of one millennium and the beginning of the next, but we are also the generation that will usher in the last millennium. What a privileged group we are! I can just imagine Abraham, Moses, all of the apostles, and Paul looking down from heaven and saying, "Oh, I wish I could be in their shoes!"
