Rick Joyner
Rick Joyner teaches that the Bible is not enough today, he compared thinking that the bible is all that we need to a man marrying a woman then giving her a book saying, "Darling, I wrote this book for you so that I wouldn't have to speak to you again." He adds, "What kind of relationship is that going to be?"
Rick Joyner also teaches that we should know about future events like hurricanes and go where these hurricanes are going to hit and either warn the people or calm the storms. He also told a story where he was on a mountain and the weather was calmed for him and another guy.
RICK JOYNER:
"The place I believe we should be in a place we never get suprised by current events. I believe we should have, you know if we're walking where we should, we should have seen all those hurricanes. Know exactly where they were going to come in, what their strength would have been and be down there a month or two ahead of time to either warn them or stand there and say, 'Now watch what the Lord wants to do with this hurricane and calm these things and become a thunderstorm."

"We have seen miracles with the weather. We've seen some extraordinary miracles...One of the greatest things I ever saw in the weather was me and one other guy. I said, 'Why couldn't I have done this in a conference with thousands, you know?' But, I was standing on a moutain top, sheets of rain going down. It had been raining all day, supposed to keep raining. And I told the guy, I said, 'We'll wait here for just a minute, the suns going to shine on us. Not only that, it's not going to shine anywhere else but right here!' And that happened, we waited about five minutes and the clouds parted and the sun came right down on the spot that we were standing. Me and the other guy."

“The Scriptures alone are used for establishing doctrine, while ‘the voice of the Lord’ is used to give us day-to-day guidance as well as revealing the strategic will of the Lord. The Bible does not address some of the most important decisions we must all make — whom we should marry, our choice of professions, where we should live.”
“...many Protestant and Reformed theologies not only hinder, but actually prohibit, Christians from knowing God’s voice. These theologies can be traced to the extreme interpretation of the prime Reformation motto sola scriptura, which means ‘Scripture alone.’”
“The Lord told me to observe the problems that Y2K will cause in the natural world as a reflection of the problems we have in the body of Christ.”
"Now, you know there are some people that don't believe the Lord speaks to us, or needs to speak to us anymore because we have the Bible. Thank God for the bible, thank God for the bible. I mean, I wouldn't in any way belittle the awesome gift that the bible is and how necessary it is. If Jesus who is the Word when confronted by the devil, would say, would fall back on, 'it is written.' How much more do we need to know what is written and learn the written word and stand on the written word. I don't want to in any way belittle the importance of the written word. But, how would you feel if on your wedding day, many of you women, how would you feel on your wedding day your husband to be came up to you and said, 'Darling, I wrote this book for you so that I wouldn't have to speak to you again.' What kind of relationship is that going to be? I mean you see we're called to be His bride and, and, and thank God for the book. But you know He did not say, 'Now, it is expedient for you that I go away now. I'm going to leave you this book.' He didn't say that. I'm going to leave you the Holy Spirit. Send the Spirit to us and, uh, listen if you have a choice between the book and the Spirit, choose the Spirit...The main thing is to know the voice of the Lord whether He's speaking through the scriptures or however He speaks to you."

“Let us understand, the Lord wants us to ascend to heaven; He wants us to sit on the mount of the assembly; He wants us to be raised above the heights of the clouds, and He wants us to be like Him (to have His nature).”
“There is a tendency to continue relating to Him as ‘the MAN from Galilee.’ Jesus is not a man. He was and is Spirit. He took the form of a servant and became a man for a brief time.”
“In the near future the church will not be looking back at the first century church with envy because of the great exploits of those days, but all will be saying that He certainly did save His best wine for last. The most glorious times in all of history have now come upon us. You who have dreamed of one day being able to talk with Peter, John and Paul are going to be surprised to find that they have all been waiting to talk to you! You have been chosen to see the harvest, the fruit of the seeds that they were planting.”
"My point is; Moses established the Old Covenant. What Jesus did far outweighed what Moses did. No questioning, greater glory, greater authority. You can also count on this in every way, the prophets of the New Covenant are going to greatly outshine anything that was ever done in the Old Covenant. And some awesome things were done under the Old Covenant. Before this age is complete this scripture (2 Corinthians 3:7-8), eveybodies going to know the glory of the New Covenant is much greater than the glory of the Old. And when that starts happening, I tell you the Jews are going to be jealous. They're going to say, 'this is better than what's even written in our word.' The things that the Lord did and even greater things are going to be done and it will be a testimony for all times to the glory of the New Covenant."

Counterfeit Revival Leader Rick Joyner confessed that at one of his conferences participants sang one song "For over three hours." As a result, he said, "The gulf between heaven and earth had somehow been bridged."
"No one will look back at the early church as a standard; all will be saying that the Lord has certainly saved His best wine for last. The early church was a firstfruits offering, truly this will be a harvest! It was said of the Apostle Paul that he was turning the world upside down; it will be said of the apostles soon to be anointed that they have turned an upside down world right side up. Nations will tremble at the mention of their name, but they will also be healed by them."
“It is typical of our Western mind-set to want a clear formula for how to get to know the voice of the Lord. There must at least be an obvious ‘how to’ in the Scriptures, we think. Many have attempted to wrestle one out of the Word, but it is not there. The only way we can come to know the voice of the Lord is the same way that the sheep came to know their shepherd’s voice — through time spent in His presence.”
“A new wave of ministries is about to be released with extraordinary prophetic gifts. Others with revelatory gifting who were sidetracked because of controversy, or other problems, are about to get back on the fast track. ... The apostolic ministry that opened the church age will be raised up at the end to complete it. The Lord is restoring the apostolic authority to the church, and soon this will become a major emphasis. There will be almost a general openness to this as men of true apostolic authority, with a true apostolic lifestyle, take their place in leadership.”
"Like the American Civil War, the coming spiritual civil war will also be between the Blue and the Gray. In dreams and visions, blue often represents heavenly mindedness — the sky is blue; and gray speaks of those who live by the power of their minds — the brain is often called gray matter. This will be a conflict between those who may be genuine Christians, but who live mostly according to their own natural minds and human wisdom, and those who follow the Holy Spirit."
''Few who devote themselves to studying cults or deviant doctrines are able to distinguish the true word of the Lord, and usually their hearts are immediately darkened by the very evil they seek to expose. We will be changed into that which we are beholding (II Corinthians 3:18). There is an implied warning in the Lord's message to the church in Thyatira about 'knowing the deep things of Satan' (Revelation 2:24). The more we focus on what is wrong, or the practices of the evil one, the more we, ourselves, will be changed into the nature of what we are seeing.''
Even if one takes the liberty to judge the prophet and his message, you are labeled a ''pharisee,'' or worse yet possess a ''religious'' and ''Jezebel spirit.'' PFO director Steve Cannon points out a recurrent theme is Joyner's writings, a concept called ''The Two Ministries.'' Joyner describes the second of the two ministries as ''faultfinders'' and says they are a destructive force.'' Cannon maintains, ''This doctrine ... is used, I think, to intimidate any who may criticize, into thinking that by doing so, they are operating under the spirit of Satan.''
"The doctrine of the rapture was a great and effective ruse of the enemy to implant in the church a retreat mentality, but it will not succeed. Already this yoke has been cast off by the majority in the advancing church and it will soon be cast off by all..."
"Bob Jones was told that the general level of prophetic revelation in the church was about 65% accurate at this time. Some are only about 10% accurate, a very few of the most mature prophets are approaching 85% to 95% accuracy. Prophecy is increasing in purity, but there is still a long way to go for those who walk in this ministry. This is actually grace for the church now, because 100% accuracy in this ministry will bring a level of accountability to the church which she is too immature to bear at this time; it would result in too many 'Ananias and Sapphiras.' That so many the (sic) prophetic ministries are still missing so much is also meant to work humility and wisdom in them so that they will be able to handle the authority and power coming in the near future."

"Counterfeit Revival leaders Bob Jones and James Ryle agree. They predict that the party God is presently throwing for His people will soon give way to a bloody civil war. On one side of the war will be "blues" who readily accept new revelations from God. On the other will be "grays" who rely solely on the revelation God has already given. According to Rick Joyner, the grays (whom he labels as "spiritually ruthless and cruel") will "either be converted or removed from their place of influence in the church."
Joyner dogmatically declares that both "believers and unbelievers alike will think that it is the end of Christianity as we know it, and it will be." When the "grays" are finally eliminated there is going to be "an entirely new definition of Christianity."
"In a vision concerning the end-time harvest, Jesus allegedly revealed to Rick Joyner that there would be "a great reaping among the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, Seventh Day Adventists, and other sects in which there is a doctrinal mixture." Jesus went on to point out that these sects would "be won by love, not truth." According to Joyner, Jesus is about to "enormously increase" our understanding on even such basic truths as "salvation and being born again." He even predicts that the end-time church will rise above differences in doctrine and "worship Him in unity." Ominously, he warns that anyone who resists this new "tide of unity" based on love rather than doctrine will be disqualified or removed from leadership: "Some who are presently in leadership that resist this move will become so hardened they will become opposers and persecutors of the church. Others will be changed and repent of their hardness of heart, even though, in some cases, their resistance to the Holy Spirit will have disqualified them from leadership. This growing tide of unity in the church will reveal the true nature of those in leadership."
"Counterfeit Revival leader Rick Joyner confessed that at one of his conferences participants sang one song "for over three hours."13 As a result, he said, "the gulf between heaven and earth had somehow been bridged."14
Joyner reports that "when that one song finally ended, some of the musicians were lying on the floor." Says Joyner,
I looked at Christine Potter and Susy Wills, who were dancing near the center of the stage and I have never seen such a look of terror on the faces of anyone. An intense burning, like a nuclear fire that burns from the inside out, seemed to be on the stage. Christine started pulling at her clothes as if she were on fire, and Susy dove behind the drums. Then a cloud appeared in the center of the stage, visible to everyone, and a sweet smell like flowers filled the area.
Leaders like Joyner see the human mind as a lower form of consciousness. Thus, like Eastern gurus, they work their devotees into altered states of consciousness. Joyner, in fact, says "experience is a much better teacher than words."
"In Moravian Falls, North Carolina, Rick Joyner has shared that he and his staff have had numerous angelic visitations on their property that was once owned by Count von Zinzendorf and the Moravian community of faith. Several portals exist on this land which had been prayed over by the Moravian brethren for over 100 years."
