WHO IS BENNY HINN????

He is the fastest up and comer on the "faith healing" cicuit. Now before you go jumping down my throat about "faith healers", I do most certainly believe God can, and does heal. I've seen it first hand. I've also seen God let people, for one reason or another, go through sickness and illness for His reasons. That having been said, the healing done by Benny Hinn and others is more closely tied to New Age teachings, than they are to Christianity. There was a movie made in the early 90's called "Leap of Faith", it starred Steve Martin and was a loosely based parody on the ministry of Benny Hinn. Listen, God does NOT have to heal!! If he doesn't, it does NOT show that you have a lack of faith. The Lord's Prayer teaches us to pray, "Thy will be done", Benny and others teach us to pray," My will be done".As a part of the curse of man, we all get sick and, unless the rapture comes first, we all die. I have heard Benny Hinn say things that run from the bizarre, to downright blasphemous! For example, he said that he has seen a man raised from the dead on the platform. Then when John Camp of CNN questions him on it, he changes his story, saying that, "I've not seen it; in that one case, we did hear about it."Click here!! While this may sound silly to most of us, it can also be dangerous. Take for example the father who's newborn infant had died, believing what Hinn said, he packed the baby in a cooler on ice and took it to the Pensacola Revival, thinking his child would be given back to him!! Not to mention the five people in Africa in 2001, who checked themselves out of the hospital agaist their doctor's wishes to go to a Hinn meeting only to die while waiting to be healed!! That is why I am so passionate in my belief that this man and his madness MUST be stopped!! "Adam was a super being when God created him I don't know whether people even know this, but he was the first superman that really ever lived! First of all, the Scriptures declare clearly that he had dominion over the; fowls of the air, the fish of the sea, which means he used to fly."Well, of course how can you have dominion over the birds and not be able to do what they do? I’ll prove it to you. "The word dominion in the Hebrew clearly declares that if you have dominion over a subject, that you do everything that subject does."In other words, that subject, if it does something you cannot do, you do not have dominion over it. I'll prove it further. Adam not only flew; he flew to space . . . with one thought he'd be on the moon.

First of all, in the twenty-four times "dominion" occurs in the Old Testament, it simply means, "to rule". Nowhere does it mean to be able to do anything your subjects can do! Sound like scripture to you? Sounds more like Hollywood to me. It's statements like this that basically help us in reverse. While we watch and say "Amen Brother Benny!!" The world looks on and laughs, feeling that if Christians are gullible enough to believe this, that we deserve to be duped! Secondly, if he could do everything that animals do, he'd be laying eggs like a chicken, and swarming like a bee! Now that just shows the kind of silliness that is being put out there,"in Jesus' name". Do we really wonder why we are misunderstood by the secular world? When that is all they see of Christ, no wonder they want to turn and run!!!

"I have news for you, when you were born again "the Word" was made flesh in you. You became flesh of His flesh, bone of His bone. Don't tell me you have Jesus; You ARE everything He was, everything He is and shall be...I am as He is...That's why you never, ever, ever are to say "I am sick", how can you be sick if you're the new creation?"

What Brother Benny fails to realize is that while, yes we are a new creation, it is not talking about physically. We still have our finite, sinful bodies that will one day perish. We are renewed, and made new, in our spirit.

"Ladies and gentlemen, are you here to learn? Then you sit there, and don't think about your chicken, your roast, your spaghetti, or anything else, put it all out of the way right now, this is life to us. God the Father, ladies and gentlemen, is a person and He is a triune being by Himself, separate from the Son and the Holy Ghost. Say what did you say? (eerily)Hear it, hear it, hear it! See God the Father is a person, God the Son is a person, God the Holy Ghost is a person but, each one of them is a triune being, by himself. If I can shock you and maybe I should, there's nine of them. Huh! What did you say!? "

First, the Bible never says that God has a flesh and bone body, as Benny does. Jesus says in John 4;24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
The ironic thing is a short while later, Benny referred to that as a "dumb statement", which it was. The problem I have with that is he said it was a revelation from the Holy Ghost! So now the Holy Ghost is responsible for making "dumb statements"? Let's hope not!!

"You know, we people say things at times that we're not even supposed to say. Look at me everybody, you know what, we've said this a million times and it's not even scriptural, all because of Job." The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord." I have news for you, that's not Bible...not Bible. The Lord giveth and never taketh away! And just because he said "blessed be the name of the Lord don't mean he was right... He was just being religious."

Going by what I know to be true about the Bible: it speaks pretty harshly against "anyone" who adds words to, or takes words away from the Word of God By adding that one word "never" to the verse in Job Hinn gives it exactly the opposite meaning than was intended!! Once we go picking and choosing verses to change, then we throw all credibility out the window. But changing that verse helps promote Hinn's greedy doctrine that, by the way, is NOT Biblically supported!!


Let's look for a moment at the greedy doctrine of Benny Hinn. He doesn't wanna wait for Heaven to get the "Streets of Gold", he wants it NOW!!!!!!!!

In perhaps one of the most bizarre things I've ever heard, Benny states that coming soon, we will no longer have to bury our loved ones, they will be resurrected by placing their dead bodies in front of T.V.s which are set to T.B.N.!! Don't believe it, listen to this!!!!

The Changing Doctrines of Benny Hinn

So which is it? Of course we know that the latter is true, but maybe someone forgot to tell Benny!

In the following clips you will hear Benny say that he believes that Jesus is going to "appear physically" on the platform with him, in small church services, and in fact Benny will come back from Africa with videotaped footage of Jesus Christ on the platform with him!!! For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Well, well, well it appears that through Benny's own "prophecy" Jesus has called him a "false Christ, or false prophet". Hmmmmm kinda makes you wonder doesn't it? A lie, told often enough, will expose itself for what it is. He is very good at giving just enough truth to hook you. Hank Hanegraaf puts it best when he says," think of it like a hot dog, it's the skin of the truth, stuffed with a big fat lie!!"
